Terms of use

Last updated: October 24, 2026. This is a starting draft: have it checked by a lawyer before you sell.

1. The license

SwiftGrab is licensed, not sold. A Personal license may be used on 1 computer and a Family license on up to 3 computers that you own or control. You may not resell, share or publish your license key.

2. Free trial

You may use every feature free for 30 days to decide whether SwiftGrab suits you. After the trial you need a license to keep using it.

3. Your responsibility for what you download

SwiftGrab is a general-purpose download tool. You are responsible for what you download with it. Only download files and videos that you own, that are offered for free download, or that you have permission to save, and follow the terms of the websites you use. SwiftGrab does not bypass copy protection (DRM). Do not use SwiftGrab to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights.

4. Refunds

If SwiftGrab doesn't work for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase through the contact form. Refunds are handled by our payment provider.

5. Updates

Your license includes free updates for all 1.x versions. A future major version (2.0 and later) may be offered as a paid upgrade.

6. No warranty

SwiftGrab is provided “as is”. Websites change often, so we can't promise that every site will always work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of data, profits or other damages from using SwiftGrab, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid.

7. Third-party software

SwiftGrab includes open-source components such as yt-dlp, Qt for Python (PySide6), FFmpeg, Requests and cryptography. They are covered by their own licenses, which are included in the program folder.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
